A/C Blower motor acting crazy !!!

Hello,

 

I have an 07 Sierra SLE Ext. cab w/5.3 Ltr. Recently, while running my A/C, all of a sudden the fan speed will start to fluctuate from high to low and everywhere in between. The other day, this went on for my entire 25 minute ride home from work. On little short jaunts to the store etc. it might not do it at all. Other days, it seems to happen after about 20 minutes & other days, it happens almost right away. Thought I would post here to see if anyone is familiar with this or might know what might be causing this. It is driving me up a wall & over a cliff !!!

sounds like the resistor is fubared
