Albuqurqe this weekend...

I live In Las Cruces, NM which is about 3 hours south of Albuquerque... My friend Mark who now lives in Denver came down with his new car (2001 Roush Stage 2, Vortech Supercharged/ aftercooled). I know its a Mustang, but its a dam nice one that I can truly respect...

First things first, we put it on the dyno at Dyno-Edge for a nice find of 334 at the wheels, which translated to around 404 Corrected... With its 3.73s its easily a mid 12 second car, which means bye bye to rice, and most other Stangs and LS1 cars... Needless to say, we had a lot of fun, not mentioning how friendly girls can be to 2 guys in a black, SC, Roush Stang!!

Perhaps the hi-lite of the trip though was seeing something I never thought I would ever see on the streets, and especially not see in Albuquerque, NM of all places... Does anyone remember this car in Motor Trend: ?????

I saw one and tripped out! We chased him down and looked it over... Turns out that the guy who designed it for the 50th anniversarry actually has built a few for poeple to order... The particular one that we saw was licensed in NM as "53 03" Kool Sighting... We tried to take some pictures of it but it was night and digital cameras dont often take clear pictures while moving... I was stoked to see it though...
