When the brake pedal gets to the bottom of its travel, I hear a groan (almost a muted honk...Canadian Goose) and a squeak. Absent a gremlin, or hapless GM mechanic under the dash, my first thought is booster. However, when I turn off the engine and repeatedly press the brake, I still hear the sound...

 

Wondered if anyone else experiences this. I've checked the vacuum line to the booster, and the brakes function well. Just annoying to have passengers know each time I press the brake...embarrassed to admit that I brake for Hondas...
