Performance has a 15% off sale going on. I was thinking of picking up a set. Price is $297 +shipping. These are chrome plated stainless steel. They claim no drilling required, which is always a plus. Anyone have a set and wish to comment on ease of installation, durability, quality? Thanks...

I was just looking at those last night. I'm thinking buying them. I just hope they keep up in the Minnesota winters.

I own a set....Just put them on about a month ago...I looked at all other brands and couldnt beat the price they where offering.....They do fit well and easy to install....The only problem I had was they give you replacement bolts and lock washers for the body bolts where the bars mount, and, when you torque the bolts to 65 ft lbs like instructed, the lock washers tend to spread and come out around the bolt head. I ended up going to the hardware store and buying better washers and lock washers. I complained to them about this and they sent me a $25 gift certificate and said they would look into the hardware problem. If you do buy them I would suggest getting better washers on hand before you start the install. Other than that, they look great and you cant beat the price for stainless chrome bars.
