OK, I was putting some parts off my old truck onto my new trucks today, and on the drive home, I noticed that it seemed like the torque converter is slipping. I also got a long list of codes, some of which refer to the converte and shift solenoids. Here are the codes:

P0740

P0753

P0758

P0785

P2761

B1440

B1035

The only electrical parts I swapped was a clock spring to accomodate DIC and radio controls on the steering wheel, and added an Autometer Trans Temp gauge.

I unplugged the gauge and cleared the codes, but it didnt help.

Anyone know what would trigger all these codes at the same time?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1035 is right front output(audio) circuit

all the rest require power from ign 0 fuse

check that fuse in the IP fuse block

clear codes ,,drive truck

Would a different clock spring cause this problem? DO I need to have it reprogrammed for it to work correctly?

I should probably mention that I dropped a wrench when reconnecting the battery and it shorted between both terminals. How badly am I screwed. Someone please help!!!

I also installed an electric seat in place of the manual seat. But, it works perfectly.

I just did some checking, and im not getting any power to that IGN 0 fuse to begin with. Where does the power feed for that fuse come from?

OK, all is well. Sometimes it just takes a good nights sleep and some fresh eyes to evaluate the problem.

I started retracing my steps with the clock spring, and remembered that one of the connectors was resistant to reconnect. It should have dawned on me then, but I guess I was too tired to realize what was going on. So, I took the connector apart and realized that one of the pins had not made a connection and had gotten rolled up into itself. I just straightened it out and reconnected it. Everything works great.

I feel relieved, but I also feel like such an idiot. Thanks for trying to help.
