Info on Rancho lifts!

I am about to get a lift hopefully and need some info, I DONT want anything over 4in for now!  I was thinking Rancho but then I heard that you cant really get just 4in out of it, that it will be closer to 6in!  Is that true?  Is it bad to run the TBs and CVs at Rancho specs?  I then thought about Trailmaster but have heard bad things about that kit, does anybody here know anything about the Trailmaster 4in?  Thanks for the info.

If I remember correctly, you can get almost 6 inches out of the Rancho kit if you set the T-bars at the factory setting, and it's closer to 4 if you use what Rancho suggests.  It may be the other way around, I don't have one so I don't remember for sure.

 

I don't know about the other lifts.

 

Rancho makes a nice lift kit though.   :thumb:

I keep hearing the Rancho is actually a 6in kit, and that its bad to run it at 4, is this true?  Has anybody ever actually run it at 4in?
