I have a 94 GMC K2500 TBI 5.7. When its cold it will fire off and spit and sputter then it cleans its self out. When I try to start it when its warm it fires off but if I it the gas it stalls. Then to re-start it I have to pump the shit out fof it. Help!!!

I had an 84 F250 4x4 with a 351 and carb that wouldn't start at all when it was warm. Was never really exactly sure what caused it, never really drove it a whole lot and I had so little invested in it(paid 600 bucks for it) so I just kinda dealt with it. I think from what some people told me on that truck that the timing was off or that the exhaust on that truck was too close to the starter and as the truck ran the starter got so hot that it wouldn't start the truck until you let it cool down for a few minutes. Only time it was a real issue was when putting gas in it. I basically just had to go inside and kill a few minutes and pop the hood and most likely add another quart of oil, lol. I think it ran real hot anyway, temp gage never said so but I doubt it really worked. Finally one day after I drove the truck farther than I should have, engine finally let go and I had it towed to the junkyard and scrapped. Likely unrelated to your problem but thought I'd share it anyway.

I automatically think fuel filter/fuel pump. You check and/or replace either of them yet? Check the fuel pressure as well?
