2009 gmc sierra 4 low

Hey, I recently bought a 2009 gmc sierra from a used car dealer and everything works good except for shifting into 4 low. The 4x4 shifter is on the floor so I'm not sure if that makes a difference, also I have a set of 22s on it but I don't think it would make a difference with the rims on it but I'm not sure. I tried shifting into 4 low earlier tonight and sounded like the drive shaft that goes from the transfer case to the front differential was just spinning. Not why it's doing that I had the truck in neutral as well before into 4 low. Any advice would be great thanks.
