Putting a DVD player in remote cassete slot.

Just wondering what could be done here:

1) anyone know of a little DVD/cdr/mp3 player that would fit in that slot?

 

2) Is it possible to hook the audio of a dvd player into the cassette deck audio input so the rear audio controls could pull up that audio (for the headphones ;) )?

 

PS:  its a 2001 tahoe, and the wife drives it mostly, so the stock deck is staying (she does not want an aftermarket deck/av unit).

Whats up man, I have a 02' yukon, and where my tape deck was I put a DVD player and it looks good.  The reason why I put it their is because in NC it is illegal to hae a DVD player playing in the drivers view.  So the answer to your question is indeed yes, a dvd or mp3 player will definately work.
