Fold-out Side Steps: Assembly Instructions?

Hey gang -

 

I just got 2 of the fold-out side steps for my new 2500 pickup as seen here. They didn't come with assembly or attachment instructions. It doesn't look like it's that difficult to do, but I don't want to mess it up trying without being sure. Anyone have any idea as to how they go together?

It's in pieces, and it'll take me too long to photograph each piece. I have a sinking suspicion it actually bolts to the spring mount point under the front of the bed, too. But I'm not 100% sure of that.

Well crap. I had a tech at the local Chevy shop assemble the steps for me. When he went to mount them on the truck, he found that the chassis needed to be drilled. Um. No. I don't think so. So I just wasted a bunch more money, dammit.
