Reflexxion Dual Cowl Hood

Want to get this for my '97 Yukon because it needs a new hood. Anybody had any experience with this company or this hood?

Dual cowl hood

Any advice on this hood or cowl hoods in general? Know where I can get a better deal?

I also saw a more aerodynamic regular cowl hood out there, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Any help would be great.

Hey Blue,

I think I forgot to mention that I'm looking for a steel hood. Cervinis has some nice stuff, but nothing that interests me. Superior sells wood dash kits, not hoods. I've been looking at this hood from goodmark for some time now:

Just really want to know peoples opinions. What do you guys like better, dual cowl or the aero cowl?

I talked to a guy at a local shop that had his 2001 Sierra hood replaced with a cowl hood.. it looked nice, but it has no functionality.. I think I'm going to wait until I add boost and get a real air scoop

these are functional. they are steel hoods with mesh screens welded in. so yes, the hoods are functional.

one company says it lowers the engine bay temp a whole 3-8 degrees. woo hoo

Goodmark makes AWESOME products imho!

Just really want to know peoples opinions. What do you guys like better, dual cowl or the aero cowl?

I have the Goodmark hood and its great.The fit was excellent and it does function as it lets air come in from the back screen and thru the holes on the underside to the engine.

I saw this happen one day when a leaf was on my windshield and soon after I was moving it sucked it up to the screen untill I stopped-Cool :thumb:

i decided to get a factory hood. the goodmark one would have cost me $500-600 by the time i had it shipped. I got the factory hood from GM for $210

I only paid $360 for mine-where did you get that price.

all the places i checked like stylinconcepts.com were about $500-$600 out the door. Don't forget freight is almost like $100. I didn't have to pay any freight for the factory hood.
