No turn signal sound after OGM1 install?

I search and found reference to this "problem" but no solution. I have performed the latest firmware update, and turned my chimes to "Loud" via the DIC. Still no sound at all when turn signals are used. Anybody know of a fix for this?

Can another OGM1 owner respond so I know at least that I'm not the only one with this problem? Or is my unit is defective?

I don't have the problem, but do recall in addition to the DIC setting, there is a Factory Amplifier setting in the OGM1 unit itself. This I believe also has an effect on the chime level.

Are you running an external amplifier, or the speaker level outputs from the OGM1?

Thanks, no external amp.

So you have an OGM1 and your turn signals are fine?

Yes. First install I was not using an amp and the turn signals were fine. I later amplified, I had to change the Factory amplifier setting and then had to change my DIC settings to change the volume. I do not recall ever not having them, just messing with the volume. If anything my current signal levels are too loud, nothing bad... Just to that it annoys me level. Probably no one else in the truck.

Have you checked the OGM-1 settings.... and turned off the option for factory amplifier

I think it is in the hidden setup screen...

You might check out this thread.

Well, that was it. The amp setting was "on." Turned it off and everything is good. Strange how it would default to "on."

Thanks for your help!

I have a 2011 Tahoe with Bose and having the same issue after I installed a pioneer 8100nex with Axxess AX-ADGM01 wiring harness, ASWC-1 and Axxess AX-ADBOX1. The blinker sound is missing. I too tried changing the chime level to loud and it didn't help. The other chimes seem to be working though.

Any suggestions?

I have no experience with the Axxess adapter. I suggest a new thread as the OGM-1 is a very specific radio meant to be installed with full OEM integration and no adapters.
