Race Sport HID Kit

I apologize for yet another HID thread, but is anyone here running the Race Sport 35w HID kit, or heard anything about them? Looks like the kit can be bought for around $125. There is a local shop that will install them for $300 (1 year parts warranty & lifetime installation warranty). The guy I spoke with brought up the canbus/resister combo to get things to work properly, which to me was a good sign. I realize it's a lot and that people have been installing the kits themselves, but when (not if ) there is a problem with the equipment or installation I'd rather let them deal with it.

Hi Adam,

 

I see it has been over 2 years since you posted. The shop I take my truck to sells these lights to his customers and says he has never had anyone bring them back. I am planning on getting them installed on my truck. Did you ever pull the trigger on these? If so, how are you liking them all this time later?
