Does this sound right ?

Called a local Chevy Dealer today to see about adding XM to my truck, All I need is the XM module, I wanna keep the stock radio and not get that big extra screen that they have but was told GM will not sell it and can only get it as a factory installed item. Sound right ?

Thats right. Call Circuit City or Best Buy. They install them there. Or even cheaper, get the equipment and install it yourself. Thats what alot of guys (including myself) are doing.

 

Chevy Dealerships only get them from the factory that way. There is alot more to it than just adding the module.
