sled deck on 2015 denali

Any sled guys on here? Looking for info on putting a sled deck on a 2015 Denali 1/2 ton with magnetic ride? Will the truck need air bags or can that even be done. Or will the mag ride adjust for the extra weight

Ive never run a sled deck, so I'm just speaking from experience and what I've seen. But I think it will just depend on a lot of things. For one do you have a short bed, or standard bed? What kinds of sleds?

Short bed and 1 or 2 mountain sleds. Most guys I know run airbags. Just don't know if u can run then with the magride suspension

So we have polaris 800 pro rmks 163 tracks and one 155 track. The 163s stick out of our short beds quite a bit, my short bed cc alt all terrian and father in laws short bed cc denali. Putting 2 163 track on a short bed would make it be very top heavy and a lot of weight behind the rear wheels. Plus once you had fuel in the sled, snow, gear, other riders, the sled deck I'm sure that is pretty close to the max payload of the bed. So I'm sure it could be done but in my eyes with that stuff its better to be safe then sorry, especially when you have a 50k truck and another 25k in sleds and gear. At the very very minimum you could get a heavy rated tire to hold more weight, and i think that would help a lot. But just like you said a lot of people run airbags which I have seen or most that I have seen run a deck on a HD truck.

Ya not 2 worried about how far they stick out as I know they will hang out. Really just want to know if u can put air bags on a truck with mag ride shocks.
