Steering Wheel Teaser..

Well, I may be a newbie here, but I'm not a newbie to GM Electronics.

 

Radio Controls on steering wheels is ok.

 

Radio Controls AND Cruise Control on the steering wheel is better!!

 

My 1996 Impala SS

 

 

And my 1999 Silverado 1500. So far I've added Onstar®, Denali Temp/Compass Mirror, 2001 Astro headunit with rear seat audio, 12cd changer... oh.. yeah.. and a 2002 Caddy CTS Steering wheel with radio and cruise controls:

 

 

Truck is dirty, but everything is functional, I'm going to dye the airbag cover (I hate airbags) Monday and install it. But, hey, its getting there!

That'll be nice when you get it all buckled up!!!

 

It's a shame that on my fully loaded "LT" 2001 Silverado, that I couldn't get something on my steering wheel that would keep me from having to reach for the radio!!!

 

Steering wheel controls is old technology for GM, but I don't know why it took so long to put it in the trucks!!!
