The X-Terra is in the shop for a day (A\C problems).

Right now there is a '03 Dodge Dakota (Rental) in the driveway.

To tell yall the truth, I kinda like it.

It has the 4.7L V8, which has me impressed (Keep in mind, I'm used to 4 Cylinders :banghead: )

Any thoughts?

I had one of those as a rental last year. The one I was using had a Magnum V8, I believe a sport model. Man that little thing would run. I'm very ashamed to say this but, it would defiantly eat any of my trucks.

My buddy has one...quad cab with the 4.7.  When we aint haulin quads, its an even match...he cant pull away...after he swore he could.  LOL.  When we haul ATV's....its over and he's looking at my tailgate...

All in all, they are not bad trucks...one thing I dont like is the tranny...#### thing feels like its slipping for each gear....normal for this tranny....

All in all, I was not impressed with the interior or the ride. The interior seemed cheep and kind of plain. The one I rented had the 5.9 mag. V8 in it. The power level was VERY impressive.

I wouldn't put a stock 1500 up against a Dakota Sport R/T. :banghead:

  All The Way!

If your Nissan dealer is like mine that repair will be $1000 for parts and $800 for labor.

Ummmm....or it will be covered under warranty

It wasn't covered by the warranty.

The belts had to be tightened (Don't know if they worked their way loose or what), while they had it, they changed out the differential fluid (WITH my mom's permission). And someother odds and ends.

It all came out to around $250
