Denali Grille vs. Regular Grille

I would like to get a T-Rex billet grille insert. This involves removing and cutting the factory grille.

 

T-Rex says it does not fit the All-Terrain or Denali models. I am wondering if this is actually true like the grille is built differently?

 

I would not cut my stock grille, so I would be buying another OEM grille from GM to cut and install the billet grille.

 

Is there any reason I couldn't buy a chrome grille from a different model since I am cutting it up anyway? Would any model grille fit my 2015 Sierra Denali? The Denali shell is like $600+ vs other trims are like $300+ so I would much rather just buy any chrome grille from GM to cut up but I want to make sure like mounting and everything would be identical.
