Hello all,

Im looking at buying a '14 Sierra Denali 1500 on Friday, I currently have a '12 F150 with a Fabtech 6 inch. I've been lurking around this site for the past week or so n need some help. I want to fit 20x10 -24 on 35x12.5 and looking at the Fabtech 6 inch. I'm confused on the difference between the Gen 1 and Gen 2. I'm fine with getting rid of the lower valance but definitely dont want to trim any metal or hack up the liner too much. I don't really want to go higher as i need it to fit in my garage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From a post on silveradosierra.com:

Fabtech Price Gen 1 kit $1,994 (k1067) uses a bracket spacer on bottom of the front strut to achieve lift (7 inches) and uses add-a-leaf and blocks along with fabtech performance shocks for the rear

Fabtech Price Gen 2 kit $1,599 (k1083) uses a strut spacer on top to achieve the lift (6 inches) and only rear blocks with fabtech perf shocks
