Few questions on recent 06 Sierra purchase

Hello, I have had this truck for less than a week and have a few issues. Got rid of the 04 F350 with a late 03 6.bl0w engine. 138k on newer ride.

 

Vibration over bumps. Got her up in the air, front end and hubs solid. Did the bounce test and pretty sure is shocks. Vibration does not upset handling, and nothing felt in steering wheel.

 

Check Engine light came on. Screwed gas cap tighter, and tried to scan at parts store. Would not read. Fuse 42 blown. Replaced with ignition off, blew right away. Replaced with 20 amp and diconnected cig lighter. No longer blows ign on or off. Will try to scan again tomorrow. Thought cig lighter was only ign on circuit?

 

Left turn mild power steering hum. Researched and found that this is common. Switch to Valvoline Max fluid? If so, how to flush out gear box?

 

Shifts hard into 2nd, unless punching it. Fluid nice color, no smell, no slip. Lucas additive?

 

Sorry I touched many topics in this one thread. I like this truck, and want her to last.
