Where can I get a new Door Latch for my Suburban ?

The dealer wants $250 for a door latch for the driver's on my 1999 GMC suburban. I can't locate any other place that carries one. Does anyone know where I can get one for less?

Have you tried the local salvage/junk yards? There are ones you can find online that will ship the part to you.

Try GMPartsDirect. They are 1 of our preferred vendors and you can get a new 1 (factory) at a lower price than the dealer will charge. You can go to the preferred vendor section and drop them a post or e-mail- they match the part # to the vin # of your vehicle so you know you're grtting thr right 1!
