Can someone tell me what the difference is between the "C" version and the "K" version of the Silverados/Sierras ? I've been looking around the sites, i.e. CarSoup.com and Cars.com, for used 3500s and most of the ads say either C3500 or K3500. I know that there are different option packages they can have like LS or LT. But what are the major differences between the C and the K? Does it have to do with suspension, body styles, or (maybe) both?

I think this is a question that will be answered before the night is out (10 pm here)

Thanks :)

I heard this years ago, whether it is true or not:

C - The two points of the letter point to the two rear drive wheels

K - The four points of the letter point to the front and rear drive wheels.
