to turn off heated seats

is there way to turn off my heated seats till cold weather?? the button to turn them on is so close to the driver side window button, that I am all the time turning on the seats and don't know it till my tail is already hot!! I looked to see where they might be fused at and the manual shows that they are on the same fuse as the ignition! so any Dephi engineers? next year, have the seats fused on theire own fuse or a switch change or something! S' the ONLY thing I don't like about my Sierra Denali!!

I've bumped mine a couple of times, and they sure do work well in the summer!!!

I haven't looked under the seat to see if the heaters have their own wiring harness, or if they are tied into the same harness as the "power seat". If they are on their own harness, then I suppose they could just be unplugged...

I did the same thing the other day. Your right, you don't notice until your already cooking!

Thanks for the idea I certianly will see if that is a possibility or not! I sure need to get my seat turned off for now, then when our winter gets here I no doubt would use the feature some.~~~~Dave J
