Service Manual - 02 Yukon

Can anyone recommend a different source for the factory service manual for a 2002 Yukon (other than Helm Inc)??

I check online at helm.com and they were $120. Am I being too cheep, or is this a fair price?

thats how much they cost new. maybe you could find a used one on ebay.

Helm is your only choice for a FACTORY manual. There are plenty of other manuals out there, but they are not FACTORY manuals and usually are not very good or complete in their decriptions, photos, pictures, specs, etc... I prefer the factory authorized manual. That way there is no question. I thought $120 was a lot too, until the manual arrived. It came in a big box with FIVE phone book size books inside (Vol 1-5). Covers all trucks and SUVs. Ebay is a good idea too. You might find a used one. I have a 2001 set, and now own a 2003 truck, but since most of the stuff in the manual is the same, I'm keeping mine for now.

You can also buy the cd version of the GM service manuals. It sells on ebay for $15-$40. Not a bad deal!!!!

If they are the GM SI manuals (and I think they are), they're just as complete, just not nearly as well organized as the Helms.

Helms takes all their information and illustrations directly from the GM SI manuals, but organizes them better.

Yes, I have purchased them and it covers "1980 -Present Service Bulletin / Campaigns. 1996-1997 Engine and Transmission (sections 6 & 7). 1998-current Service Manuals (all sections of the manual)" I only bought it because I had a hard time parting with the $120 for the paper version and had read somewhere on this board how good it was. Plus now I have the Service Manual for my wifes 98' GrandPrix. Look for it on Ebay its worth the money
