Rebuilding 5.3L

Getting ready to upgrade 5.3L with LS1 heads and cam. Where is a good place to get rebuild kit, ie gaskets, bolts, etc? Thanks for any help!

I would check out Thunder Racing ( www.thunderracing.com ). They'll likely have the gaskets and stuff you need.

 

Are you putting stock LS1 heads on, or ported ones? What kind of cam are you planning to run and what kind of tuning?

Looking to pick up some stock LS1 or LS6 heads and install a similar cam. Rumor is that most of it is plug-and-play with HP gains around 30-50. I'll keep things updated as they come!
