Westers with 5.3?

I have seen alot of performance talk about the westers with the bigger motors, but what about with the 5.3 in a 1500? What are you guys seeing performance wise? Currently, I can't even get my truck to spin a tire when taking off. I hate it! What will the westers do for me??
