Will the t56 bolt up 2

Will the t56 bolt up to the gm ly2 4.8 v8 without modification? I have tried to research this but I’m not even sure if I’m wording things correct. Sorry guys/gals but I sure could use some direction. This isn’t for a specific truck or anything. I’m wanting to do a completely custom build from frame up using the ly2 and a 5/6 speed transmission that can handle the horsepower that I will build the engine up to. So please some direction for this gm noob!!

Horsepower goals are 900 to 1200 I know the tranny will have to be built so that’s a no brainer lol. I just wanna see if the t56 will bolt up or would just building the nv3500 up be a better option. That’s the kinds of info I will prefer! Thanks again
