Another Newbie

Hello all,

I am the proud new owner of a 2003 GMC Sierra SLE 1500 Reg Cab 2wd Sportside. I love this truck. I just came from a VW TDI Diesel Jetta. What a difference. I like having all of the room (I am 6'5"). What a step up from the VW (at least in my eyes). I just wanted to say hello, and I look forward to learning all sorts of stuff from you folks.

Welcome.....I have one question though.....HOW THE HELL DID YOU FIT IN A VW???? I am 6'8" and at an auto show I tried to fit in a Focus once.....one word NO....stretch the legs out...you got a chevy now

How did I fit in the VW, not very well (LOL). After coiling up in it, if I wanted to look out the window I actually looked out the front of the back window. The back of the front door was actually in front of me. I drive 50 miles round trip everyday but I soon discovered that mileage doesn't mean anything if you feel like a human pretzel. I will gladly pay the extra in fuel. I feel like I could drive this truck all day long.
