4L60e interchange question

I stumbled onto this website. I hope someone can help me.

I have a 1993 s10 extended cab, 4.3 auto 2wd. The transmission is making a whine type of noise. It is ground-speed related, not engine speed related. I have 2 1995 cars as donors: a 1995 Camaro 3.4 with 4L60e and a 1995 Firebird 3.4 with 4L60e. Will either of these transmissions be a direct bolt in replacement into my s10?

Thank you for your help. I cannot find an answer.

I would not put a 1995 4l60e in any thing. they are different in so many ways from earlier and later models. They are troublesome and pricey to rebuild.
