Creaking noise when turning at low speeds

Recommended Posts

Hello!  I have a 2019 Yukon XL Denali that I bought new about 2 months ago.  I've had numerous "issues" that might be considered normal but still annoy me.  Paint problems, panel alignment issues, noises.  I had a rattle in the dash that was driving me crazy until I pulled the dash apart and found a "lost" 7mm bolt laying on top of a bracket below the steering column.  Now I'm on to the next one and need a little help.  When I make a low speed turn I get a creaking noise that sounds like it is coming from the drivers dash area.  I could be wrong about the location, the noise does seem to move around a little depending on the direction of the turn.  It is definitely due to body flex.

I've read that it could be the body mount, the drivers seat or any number of things.  It's driving me crazy though and seems to be getting worse as time goes.  Anyone have similar issues that have been resolved that will give me a starting point?

Thanks!
