take out plat plugs before 100k?

I understand that plat plugs are supposed to last 100k miles give or take. Do you people recommend taking them out every 30,000 and putting them back in? This would be so at 100k they don't seize in the engine.

Personally I wouldn't run them 100K unless you do ALOT of highway driving... I plan on changing mine alot ealier than 100K.

As far as pulling them out and putting "anti-sieze" on them, it may be a good idea. Be sure to use the copper colored stuff. That way you won't risk breaking one off...

I could see pulling them once for antisieze but no reason to afterwards. Personally, I change mine at 30K with a straight copper plug (NGK TR-55). I don't mind changing them and I get a smoother idle with the copper. On top of that, two of my oem plugs lost the platinum disks. Hopefully they just blew out the tailpipe  I can't imagine trying to pull my plugs after 100K especially in an aluminum head.
