Virginia members-----I need a little help

My wife is the unfortunate owner of a dodge Dakota. It is a 98 and to pass inspection I will have to rebuild the whole front end and replace the entire exhaust system, as it is all rotted out. I am in need of a 'lick and stick' inspection sticker to hold us off until December, when I can get her a brand new vehicle. I would get her a new truck now but we are buying a new house and need to keep the credit report empty until we have the mortgage. If you can help let me know.

What part of VA?

 

Alot of the places out in the "country" will do a "lazy inspection" and may overlook the front end (what's wrong with it?) and exhaust.

yeah my blazer wouldn't pass (emissions) inspection, and I live in NOVA, so when I went to school, I just told the DMV that the truck was garaged in Lynchburg, instead of Manassas. So I paid the taxes in Lynchburg, the car was owned by an owner in manassas, and garaged in Lynchburg....but once your out of NOVA, I didn't need to pass the emissions.....problem solved......
