86 Silverado Engine Conversion

[02 Blue Thunder]

Posted this topic in the classic truck forum and figured that is should go here. I am looking at swapping out an 86 305 and putting in a 2002 5.3 into an 86 Silverado. What probs might there be? I know I will have to use the 02 truck pcm, but not sure if anything else would be a prob. Anyone done this?

Go over to 67-72chevytrucks.com, find the 73-87 boards and look for N2TRUX. He's been working on a similar project putting an LS-1 into an old style Blazer. He might be able to give you some hints.
