Tranny/oil cooler?

When I recently had the grill shell off of my '00 Sierra, I saw something I'd never noticed before and hope that someone can explain to me.

In front of the radiator, there is a separate cooling 'device' that is nearly the same height and width of the radiator but not quite as deep (front to back). There is a coupling on the bottom with two lines of approximately .5" OD. On the driver's side of the radiator, there's a smaller cooling device that is the same height as the radiator but only 4 or 5" wide. It has two smaller lines in/out at the bottom.

I tried unsuccessfully to follow the lines to see if one of those might be a transmission cooler. My truck has the Z85 option but doesn't have a tow hitch. I figure one of the devices is probably an oil cooler but I'm not sure which it is or what the other cooling device is.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The one the same size as the radiator is the AC like said above. My Z85 didnt come with the towing package so I have no tranny cooler, but I do have the Power steering cooler, which is the small cooler off to the drivers side!
