Question about wiring auxillary lights....

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have a set of auxillary lights that I would like to have be switched on when I pull the bright switch in the truck...

I currently have the quad-beam kit installed, and from what I can tell there is a "hot" wire going to the lights at all times, but when you "switch" the lights with your bright switch, it just alternates the ground between the highs and lows...

And putting the relay in for the quad-beam just keeps the lows grounded and then switches the highs to ground as well..

*big breath*

Anyways ;)

I've got a set of lights that are currently relayed with a switch I have running into my cab, and I would like them to come on when I do my brights (set of driving lights) so I don't have to flip two switches....

How can I go about wiring these into my brights with the current relay I have?

ThankS
