the leather in my car is not in the greatest condition, the worst part of the car. Only the drivers seat has damage, but the rest is faded somewhat. But I am wanting to upgrade my stock BBS 14" wheels with some bigger, lighter wheels. I've narrowed it down to two choices, boths Centerlines. I wanted 16", but the only make 15,17,18,19 in for both wheels so I'm going 15, they weigh about 2-3 punds less a wheels then my current BBS. If I get wheels I'll also get wet okole seat covers and forget about ever getting the new leather. (check my sig links to see pics of teh car if you don't know what it looks like)Here they are, The Neutron & Storm, :

If I get wheels, then I'll get them after winter is over.

if "wheels" which for my car?

I would go for the new leather, then, when you have the cash, go for the Neutron wheels (they seem more fitting for a Bimmer than the others). I would have leather on the top of my list though, it will really enhance the interior, more than seat covers and definately increase resale value.

no way, wheels first. Function over Form everytime! Which ones are up to you... just as long as its a performance upgrade... get a better tire and the wheels weight less but are stronger as well.

:D dinan. If you don't know, for my type of BMW(e30 chassis code), dinan is just an expensive joke. For example:

for Thier honed intake manifold, they claim 40 HP, want 800 bucks. Well I researched, and it's made by ireland engineering. Ireland charges 400, and says it will only produce a max of around 12 or 13 HP. Their exhaust is INSANELY overrated. When it comes to e30's I have heard a pleanty of stories and warnings about people buying Dinan's parts to find that they(Dinan) lied about the results. If you add up their "bolt-ons" for the M20B25 engine(what I have), they claim a higher HP output than professionally built performance-dedicated engine can put out. Many famous engine builders of this engine says you'll be lucky to get over 200HP out of these engines without boring, stroking and spending more cash than its worth. Easest way is to slap on a Turbo, and it's cheaper than all of Dinans overpriced bolt-on's combined.

For newer ones though, it is a good perfromance idea.

That would be the M.O. for just about every aftermarket manufacturer known to mankind when it comes to performance "bolt-ons".

Hell, in some places the venerable K&N seems to think they can add 20hp with just a new air filter.

Like you said, if you actually bolt (all) the crap on that people sell as horsepower increasing parts, then add what they say it adds....You could have a pro-street Z71 without ever even taking off the heads or changing the tires.....Wait....Don't those yellow lettered NASCAR tires add 5hp per wheel?
