Yukon Denail Axle Ratio

Have a 2002 Yukon Denali AWD. How can I find out the rear

axle ratio of it? I thought I could look inside the driver's door, but

not sure what to check.

 

Reason I ask is because I bought a new boat that will have a towing weight

of 5,000lbs. Correct me if I am worng, but it does have a max tow rating of

8,200lbs. with a weight dist. hitch. The Denali does have a factory

installed hitch.

if your Denali has the 6.0 litere engine then you most likely have the 4:10 axle

 

if it is 5.3 then most likely has 3:72

It's a 3.73 rear axle. and auto leveling for better towing. You shouldn't have problems towing 5K lbs.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it was the 3.73, but just wanted another opinion. BTW, I towed the boat the other day and it does a great job, especailly with the auto leveling.
