brokendown Posted July 16, 2020 Posted July 16, 2020 I have a2002 GMC Sierra 4.8 4x4 180k miles. The water pump finally said hello and I decided to put in a larger radiator. All went well with the cutting till I found the front impact sensor below the radiator causes a problem. The bolts sticking up rub the bottom of the radiator directly in the middle. Can I cut them down with a dremmel to give clearance, will that damage the sensor since the bots I understand can not be removed from sensor. OR Can I relocate the sensor forward an inch to get the clearance I need. I would prefer to cut the bolts down but do not want to damage the sensor.
