What ohm reading of these temperature sensors verify that there bad or need replacing?( Mine seams to be a stable rise until it reaches the 170 range then it will bounce from 178-180-178-181 type temperature on the dash screen, which I've read if it goes up and down it's going bad?)

My dealership checked it via a ohm reading when they replaced the wiring harness and said it tested in the "ok" range but I'm having weird shifting which is a symptom of a faulty temperature sensor also, but I'd like to know at what ohm reading is it bad enough for them to consider bad and replace it?

I'm not sure if this paperwork from dealership is saying they replaced temperature sensor ( because it is a part of the 2 wiring harnesses they replaced or is it separately connected somehow to a different wire?)

After watching a couple videos of "wiring harness"  replacement it looks like the temperature sensor is molded into this harness?

So when anyone says they replaced both harnesses in the tranny it's automatically a new temperature sensor?

Ok ask for p/n and ask them if it's all one piece ( harness& temperature sensor) or can you individually replace each part
Will do, I'll talk to them on monday. Truck should be done monday and if so I can post my invoice.
Have you seen these videos?

Yes, but they don't say if the temperature sensor is removable from the harness or in other words if you replace the harnesses you automatically replace the sensor b/c there one unit?

It looks that way to me
Only one part number for the harness and it fixed the temperature sensor problem.
Although I have a new problem and the truck had to be towed back to the dealership because they are idiots i guess. Hopefully it was enough to burn the tranny and they can just replace the damn thing. Feel like they at least owe me a free truck wash at this point lol.0ab4daeaaf389b91dc9bc660e639b4ca.jpgeafdd7f4fa6ffce323595b1a351195b9.jpg

Hmmm, it's enough to drive ya crazy and never want another...(been a Chevy fan my whole life but losing me quickly with just one truck that seams to have gremlins)

It's odd b/c when I picked up my truck they told me they didn't replace temperature sensor but looking at the part numbers they replaced I don't see how they didn't( or wouldn't for that matter if they went through the trouble of installing 2 new harnesses and flush/ fill) why on earth would they keep the old temperature sensor in use especially since they showed 2 codes(po700)(po711)???

Just talked to dealership

Temperature sensor was ok but b/c wiring harness (24298757) was bad I got a new temperature sensor automatically b/c it's molded into harness...
