Updated '02 Tahoe pics

Hey all,

The last pics of my Tahoe that I had uploaded had the Caddy rear smooth vents installed, but they were still out-of-the-box black at that time. I felt that the smooth appearance looked much better than the factory ones -- but these pics show (IMO) just how much better these trucks look with the smooth vents PAINTED to match the body color.

With the vents painted, the whole truck just looks bigger and better. Also, the overall look is much more "complete" (the black factory vents always looked like a bit of a last-minute add-on to me, at least as far as the side-view of the truck was concerned).

There had been some discussion about these vents fitting on a Denali, and I chimed in to say that I couldn't understand why they wouldn't fit (I'm convinced that they do). Now, whereas I'm still not SURE that they fit, at least these pics might help someone decide that it's worth the shot to at least see if they fit.

You'll see that I've also had the front windows tinted and had the truck leveled...

Here's another (shows the lengthening effect created by the painted rear vents better):

Incidentally, these pics may make the truck look like it's TOO high in the front, when, in fact, it's just an optical illusion created by the angle the truck is parked, the angle the pic was taken (a little fish-eye effect, it seems), and the slight slope of the driveway.

Don't the stock vents really vent (like interior air pressure when slamming a door or something)? Do the Escalade's have hidden vents?

It's tough to tell from these pics, but yes, the Escalade corners DO have vents -- there is one long, vertical vent in each one. "Smooth" might be a bit misleading here. The Caddy vents are not completely "smooth" like some Street Scene vents I've seen, but compared to the stock Tahoe vents, these are pretty smooth.
