03 Silverado problem..

My brother in law (Texas76) had an Low idle light kept coming on. It has no power and feels like its gonna die. He has a Flowmaster exhaust on it. Is the Flowmaster the problem?He also says he smelled something really bad like burning wires.

If he smells anything that isn't normal, I'd recommend a visit to the dealer (after checking to ensure nothing has come in contact with the aftermarket exhaust).

 

I've been running a flowmaster system for 2500 miles and it did not cause a poor idle situation.
