:P I HAVE A 1999 SILVERADO 5.3 ENGINE HAD THE PISTONS REPLACED FOR THE COLD PISTON RATTLE. I NOW THINK I HAVE A SMALL ANTIFREEZE LEAK. MY QUESTION IS IT POSSIBLE TO LET THE ENGINE KOOL DOWN OVER NIGHT AND RETORQUE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD DOWN WITH AN INCH POUND TORQUE WRENCH PER THE BOOK PROCEDURE?

WHAT IS THE PROPER TORQUE? I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL DIFFERENT NUMBERS.

INTAKE MANIFOLD INSTALLATION (HELM SHOP MANUAL)

 

-Tighten intake manifold bolts first pass in sequence at 44 lb in.

-Tighten intake manifold bolts final pass in sequence at 89 lb in.
