I am looking to lower my 03 either with a 2/4 or a 3/5 combination. The thing is, I want the stock ride or better. The last thing I want to do is seem like I am jumping out of my seat everytime I hit a bump in the street. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks, Nick

Id go for some DJM lower control arms and rear shackle/hanger kit. It uses stock leaves and coils. Yet retains stock ride from what I hear. I got a Hotchkis kit, not sure how its gonna ride yet but I bet its gonna be stiff! Get some smaller bump stops too. Welcome to the site by the way!

Check out Groundforce, I hear good things about them. They have kits for 2wd 4wd and AWD too! I was thinking about a 2/4 on my Sierra Denali. I already have a 2" drop in the back and about a 1/2-3/4 crank down in the front. But If I go any lower my front air dam will plow snow, I guess it won't work around here!

So by using the lower control arm kit iinstead of the springs, will I need new shocks? How about the back? Thanks for all the help!

seems like the guys doin the 4/6 drops end up w/ better ride quality than guys doin like the 2/4 drops. Check out djm or mcgaughys. both sell great 4/6 drops w/ little to no bump steer.

if you wanna go all out on your suspension stick some Hotchkis sway bars on it too.

Some guys have said with the full Hotchkis 2/4 it actually gets worse... Guess thats where the Caltracs would come in handy!!
