Bumps at low speed

I have this VERY weird thing going on with my 99 Z71. When I get come down to a slow speed to stop. I get to about 5mph and feel a series of 3 or 4 bumps, like i am running over golf balls . It happens without the use of brakes also, I can let it roll downhill and I still feel it in the truck. An out of balance tire couldnt cause this could it? I checked all the tires and I dont see any foregn objects stuck in the tires. Any thoughts??

My Yukon does this also. its the slip yoke on the transfercase (going to the rear). most of the time these doing when coming to a complete stop and the body rolls, mine and a few other i have heard of do it when almost to a stop. I pulled my drive shaft cleaned the tail shaft with brake/parts cleaner, i also did the inands out side of the yoke. I put some lube on it and wala it was gone for about 8-10 thousand miles its now starting again. Good luck maybe this will fix yours.
