Factory Moonroof/Aftermarket Install

Hello,

I am happy to say, My wife and I are taking delivery of a new 04' Tahoe tonight. It happened to be the vehicle in GM's 24 hour test drive so it has 700 miles on it. not bad, and the dealer is giving us to good of deal to pass up. The kicker is, we'd like to have a power moonroof in it. I have seen one in a 03 tahoe at a different dealer who had it installed, it appeared to be the same as stock and looked great. I'm going to call them soon to ask where they got it done. Thought I'd see if anyone had any idea's of installers, or what brand is the factory moonroof? Thanks,

  And there aren't any "bellows". There are solid plastic doors the actuators move, which largely seal just by themselves, and then have a strip of foam around the edge to better seal the door. The foam does deteriorate over time, but this is unlikely to be a significant cause of the problem.

  are the heater controls set for hot or cold air? If it's set for hot, and say, to get air from outside the cab (vs recirculated air), even w the fan off, air will get pushed through the hvac system, over the heater core and into the cab. Switching it to cold will reduce the temp to whatever it is outside. Switching to recirculate mode (which may mean switching to vents or whatever, read your owners manual), will reduce the amount of airflow through the hvac system.
