02 Envoy Shocks

My Envoy is aproaching 50K miles and needs new shocks. Has anyone found replacement shocks for the Envoy yet. I have searched several part sites and have been unable to find them.

Didn't your envoy come with Bilsteins(sp) ? What did you not like about them? You could always call Jason Cromer at Sam Taylor Buick-Cad 1-877-726-8295 and get a price.

Ya Bilsteins should be good for the life of the vehicle right.

monroe does make a replacement for this vehicle. they are just hitting the market... they are their "reflex" line on products... i have a set of 4 ordered and are planning on replacing the oem asap... i can stand the factory bilsteins. they really SUCK. my trailblazer have 29000 miles and i have hated the shocks since day one....

I also have an '02 Envoy with 50K, ride and handling became noticeably poor in last 5K with wheel hop in turns on rough roads and a knock which seemed to come from front end on rough roads. GMC said it was unusual for front shocks to fail at 50K and also found leak in LR shock. They covered parts on all 3 while I covered Rt Rear shock and all labor. Truck now rides like it originally did.

 

But within a few days, I began gettting groan from front end when applying brakes and making front end dip. GMC dealer says stabilizer links have to be replaced. Bad bushings. They again offered to cover parts, if I covered labor.

 

Would like opinions on mileage to be expected from OEM shocks and just how coincidental is it to have stabilizer links go out at same time ?
