New PCM program available??

Hey all. Just wondering if I can get my PCM reprogrammed to correct this little annoyance:

This happens usally when cold - 1-2 shift good; but the 2-3 upshift, under normal throttle, has a little "hesitancy" to it. Not a firm shift, and not a slipping trans; just seems like there is a slight delay form the 2-3 shift.

If I drive in tow/haul mode, good firm shifts with no hesitancy. I just tried driving in that mode for a few miles; I don't drive all the time in tow/haul!

All other trans functions are normal; and the trans fluid level and condition are great.

 

Any suggestions? Normal condition?

Maybe I should rephrase this whole thing - I paid very good attention to the truck today - and the trans seems perfectly normal; even somewhat firm on 2-3 shift today.

Am I confusing this with the cold-weather program for the trans? Owner's manual states that in cooler weather, it may take awhile for transmission shifting, which warms the engine up faster.

If it's still under warranty it is certainly worth it to complain to Mr Goodwrench and see if they have any tsb's or computer updates (they did for my 01 Hoe about a year ago).

 

But since then, I cured that kind of problem with a Granetilli Motor Sports DiabloSport Predator ... actually with the Predator each shift can be quickened and/or made firmer (plus, there are separate program modes for normal and tow/haul) *and* torque managment is removed. GMS even sent me a custom tune via email for free!
