Trailblazer front clip question.

Do the Trailblazers have a removable core support with sperate fenders like the fullsize trucks, or are the fenders just covers over a welded in support and core support like Explorers have had forever? Haven't had the chance to inspect one closely yet and was wondering that.

Hey, I only got a quick look at it the other day, and it appears that the core support is bolted AND welded in....At the same mounting points.

 

I didn't have a chance to really crawl around in there and peek at the fenders, or how they are attached. But when I get the chance, and she is home again (we have opposite schedules) I'll take a bit better peek.
