Danp5 Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 Hi, I have an older Silverado (1998) K2500 with only 43,000K. I pride myself in the care I take with maintenence and appearance of this truck. Yesterday I noticed two or three small puddles on my driveway where my truck is parked. It appears to be automatic transmission fluid. I looked under the truck and saw small droplets forming at the bottom of the engine. I wiped off any access fluid I could find and moved the truck to a different spot for the night. This morning there was one more small spot. Not as bad as before. I just recently moved and had the truck loaded a few times, but did not experience and trouble or leaks until the other day. Any help or suggestions with this problem will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dan
Frank S Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 Sounds like you may have a front pump seal that is going bad.
