Where can I get a replacement bowtie for my 2000 Z71? I am trying to find one that is red/white&blue.

look on ebay...they have alot of them on there. I'm working on mine right now...painting it black and putting white numbers in the middle "325". Then clearing it and wet sanding till its flush. I'll try and post pics when I get-r-dun.

Yup. Ebay's got it all. I knew this vendor has had custom flag painted bowties for quite some time now. Here's the listing for one that fits the NBS trucks (99-02)

Oops! My bad. That's for the older style grills. However, just look over the guy's other listings and you should find one for the NBS trucks.

Piratebaseball, why "325"? The 5.3 is a 327. Maybe the pirates batting average?? LOL

Every where I've read said that the 5.3 is actually a 325 engine. Before I put it on there, I'll get the formula and do the math myself with the bore and stroke just to be sure.

Just did the math...with a 3.622 stroke and 3.78 bore she comes out to be a 325.17.
